Container Shipping - An Unprecedented Efficiency for Handling FCL and LCL

Every day, millions of shipments arrive at sea ports from all over the world. Some containers would be fully loaded with clients' goods while others would be loaded with goods of different clients. Regardless, whether you have a small shipment or a large one, our team at Sallaum Group manages to deliver it by determining the most efficient and secure approach. We support both types of container shipping: FCL and LCL. Full Container Load (FCL) is when the entire container is intended for one supplier regardless of its size. FCL shipment is the most cost-effective way to ship large volumes of freight by sea. Less than container load (LCL), on the other hand, is when several shipments from different suppliers are consolidated into one container. LCL is considered the most economical way to deliver small quantities of goods. In both cases, we have longstanding partnerships with container shipping lines which submit documentation about the shipment to government authorities in the exporting and importing countries. We, as well, always assist our clients in preparing the right documents such as the bill of lading and the freight bill.

Benefits

What Can You Expect from Container Shipping?

Flexibility
You can either have the full container loaded with only your goods or share the space with others.
Optimized Costs
For large shipments, FCL container shipping is cost-effective. For small shipments, paying for the occupied space in LCL is advised.
Safety and Security
Containers have strong and durable locking mechanisms which protects sensitive cargo from damage or spilling out, against theft or other circumstances.
